Research into possible distributor

For my mainstream distributor I have chosen to write about Warner Bros. Pictures or also known as Warner Bros. Entertainment. This is one of the most popular distribution companies known today. I chose to write about it because it has distributed the popular film 'Orphan' which is a psychological horror and also has many elements that link into our film.

Orphan is a 2009 American psychological horror film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. The film centres on a couple who, after the death of their unborn child, adopt a mysterious nine-year old girl. Orphan was the film that triggered off some of mythoughts into how we should have our film and what the storyline should be about, it actually helped a lot because some of the elements in the film are similar.For example, Annie dressing in all black and wearing the pentangle necklace that she never takes off compared to the felt choker that Esther keeps on her neck throughout the film until the end. Also the title of our film 'Something About Her' links in with the storyline of Esther having a secret and nobody knowing it. Also the fact that Annie has some friends who don’t think anything is wrong with her links in with the way that Esther puts on a front of being a sweet girl, when really, she is nothing at all like that.
